Ursula Andress Named Sexiest Bond Girl in New Poll

A new poll by Moviefone has declared Ursula Andress the sexiest Bond girl.
Andress appeared as Honey Ryder in the very first Bond movie, Dr. No, in 1962, alongside Sean Connery. Her famous emergence from the ocean in a white bikini has been referenced in several films.
Andress also played Vesper Lynd in 1967’s Casino Royale, a Bond spoof. Eva Green later portrayed this character in 2006’s smash success of the same name.
Andress was followed by Halle Berry, who played Jinx in 2002’s Die Another Day. Kim Basinger, as Domino Petachi of 1983’s Never Say Never Again, claimed #3. Barbara Bach, of 1977’s The Spy Who Loved Me, and Denise Richards, of 1999’s The World Is Not Enough, rounded out the top 5.
Jane Seymour, Famke Janssen, Michelle Yeoh and Eva Green also graced the list of 16. The “Bond” series has boasted 22 films, and close to 100 Bond girls, says contactmusic.com. The latest movie, Quantum of Solace, opened yesterday to sold-out shows.
