NBC presents star-studded lineup.
The annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” tree lighting ceremony now has a list of stars set to perform on it.
NBC will air the event live on December 3 at 8 p.m. which will once again be hosted by Al Roker of the Today show, the Associated Press reports.
The list of performers include Beyoncé, David Cook, the Jonas Brothers, Harry Connick, Jr., Tony Bennett, Faith Hill, and Rascal Flatts. Also slated to appear are Beyoncé’s singer sister, Solange, Neal E. Boyd (winner of NBC’s America’s Got Talent), and the Broadway Kids, who are members of a performing arts program founded by Rosie O’Donnell. The comedian is also scheduled to appear.
This is NBC’s 11th telecast of the tree lighting, however, the network showed its first ever tree lighting on The Kate Smith Show in 1951.
Performers will sing at the Art Deco plaza in Rockefeller Center during the event.
