Mischa Barton has learned to "embrace" life as a single women since she broke up with her rock star boyfriend Taylor Locke last month (September).
The reason that she is just realizing this is because of the glut of relationships she has had in the past.
But even though she was with her boyfriend throughout those times, Barton is currently enjoying the subtle pleasures of being alone.
"I'm not used to being sing, but it's really nice," "The O.C." star recently said. "It's great actually."
What do you have to do when you're single, besides go grocery shopping by yourself?
"Just embrace it. It's important to breathe for a minute."
Actually, Barton is wrong. It's important to breathe multiple times in a minute. If you don't, then oxygen stops going to your brain and then you've got what we in the business call "issues."
