Katy Perry to Host MTV Europe Music Awards

Katy Perry, the singer you likely know from her summer smash hit, "I Kissed a Girl," will ride the wave of her single and success of her debut album and host the MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool, England on November 6.
The pop singer was also nominated in two categories for the Music Awards - the best new act and most addictive track for "I Kissed a Girl," which was at the top of Billboard's Hot 100 chart for an outstanding seven consecutive weeks.
There will also be a host of extremely well known presenters at the show. That list includes - Grace Jones, Sugababes, Tokio Hotel and Solange Knowles - whose sister has a new double album coming out in late November.
Performers on the show will include The Killers, Pink, Duffy, Kid Rock and Beyoncé.
