Fans Offer “Pineapple Express” to Star

James Franco has had fans offer him marijuana due to his role in his latest film.
Hollywood hottie James Franco has revealed people continuously confuse him with his character in Pineapple Express. In the marijuana-fueled action film which was released last month, Franco plays Saul Silver, a drug dealer who is high for nearly the entire movie.
Due to his role in the comedic movie and his appearance at the MTV Movie Awards in June, where he appeared on stage with his co-star Seth Rogen with a fake bag of pot, people now believe that he is a stoner in real life as well. Although, Rogen has already admitted that he is a regular when it comes to using drugs, Franco insists that fans of his work are shocked when he refuses to smoke with them.
“Already, I have had people come up to me in cafes and say, ‘Hey, you’re James Franco, right? Hey, I can’t get ahold of my guy - do you know where I can buy some good weed?’” Franco explains.
“I’ve [also] had someone come up to me and be, ‘Hey! What’s up, man?’ and give me a handshake and palm me a little bag of weed,” the actor says. I guess this is what happens when you are good at acting like a pothead. . . .
