Amy Winehouse Rips Jack White, Alicia Keys's Bond Theme

The pair recently recorded the theme to the new James Bond film.

Amy Winehouse said that her song for the new James Bond film was turned down because it wasn't like Jack White and Alicia Keys's - "clean-cut and boring."

The maligned singer was originally tapped to record the song before Winehouse and her producer, Mark Ronson, did not record a song that was deemed good enough for the film.

After that, White and Keys made a song that satisfied the producers of Quantum of Solace, which will once again star Daniel Craig as James Bond.

Winehouse blamed the timetable for her song's rejection.

"I do think they could have waited a bit," she said. "If they want a worldwide hit, I have them all up here [pointing to her head]."

Winehouse said that she plans to release her version of the Bond theme the same week White and Keys's version will come out.

She went on to say: I guess they are going for clean-cut and boring. When I do release mine - and I am tempted to do it on the same day - this would be the bigger hit. If they change their minds, I'm waiting!"

Quantum of Solace will be released on Halloween of this year.
