Morgan Freeman Injured in Car Accident

Oscar award winning actor Morgan Freeman, 71, was injured in a car accident and said to be in serious condition, according to Reuters.
The accident occurred on Sunday night in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. Local media reported that Freeman’s vehicle rolled over several times. According to Celebrity Web site TMZ.com, a female was also in the vehicle. Her identity and condition remain unknown.
Freeman was airlifted from the accident site, and taken to Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee, a hospital spokesman said, according to Reuters. The spokesman also said Freeman was in serious condition, but gave no other details.
