The movie star reportedly brings in around $80 million a year.
According to Fox News, Forbes has named Will Smith as Hollywood’s highest paid actor.
The Hancock star came in first place on Forbes’s list of Tinseltown’s best-paid actors. According to their tally, Smith made an estimated $80 million between June 1, 2007 and June 1, 2008.
Following close behind, Forbes rated Johnny Depp as their second highest paid actor. The Pirates of the Caribbean star raked in estimated earnings that totaled around $72 million within the same dates as Smith.
Eddie Murphy and Mike Myers tied for third place, each taking home around $55 million. Rounding out the top five earners was Leonardo DiCaprio who brought in a not-too-shabby $45 million on his own.
The magazine also totaled the earnings of Hollywood’s leading ladies, rating Cameron Diaz at the top of the pack with $50 million. Keira Knightley was the second best compensated, taking home $32 million, closely followed by the $27 million brought in by Jennifer Aniston.
Not to be outdone, Oprah was elected as the magazine’s highest-earning media personality, bringing home a whopping $275 million.
Looking at television stars, Forbes found Two and a Half Men’s Charlie Sheen to be the highest paid TV actor, making $20 million in the yearlong period, while Katherine Heigl topped the women’s list with $13 million.
