Ruben Studdard Says “I Do”

Wedding fever seems to be in the Hollywood air.
In his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, American Idol Season 2 winner Ruben Studdard tied the knot Saturday.
With 20 groomsmen by his side, People reported, the 29-year-old “Velvet Teddy Bear” married Surata Zuri McCants, 30, at the Canterbury United Methodist Church. They obtained their marriage license last Monday, looking really happy, an eyewitness said.
While he favored jerseys embellished with 205, Birmingham’s area code, People said that the singer and his groomsmen wore black Joseph Abboud tuxes from a local men’s outfitter, Mr. Burch Formal Wear. Studdard had a white vest and a white bowtie.
The couple met as Studdard signed CDs in an Atlanta Wal-Mart in October of 2006. He was smitten and attracted enough to follow her to the toys department and ask for her digits.
