Leary is really a show tune lover.
No nonsense Rescue Me star Denis Leary may not seem like a song and dance man, but it seems he has the secret goal of one day acting in a Broadway musical, WENN reports.
Peter Tolan, executive producer of Rescue Me, has revealed that Leary is a great lover of theater and has an astounding knowledge of show tunes. He would also like to one day create a theater production of his own.
“Whenever we get tired, we talk about the possibility of someday doing a musical. So he has some secret goal here,” Tolan reveals.
Tolan jokes: “He has an unusual recall of lyrics from Broadway musicals . . . it's a little disturbing.”
The producer and pal of Leary also ponders, “Here's what you don't know about Denis. I think that Denis may secretly be a musical theater queen.”
