This is expected to be announced on Monday 23 June, according to the New York Times.
Veoh presents online clips such as YouTube and is supported by former Disney chief Michael Eisner and others.
Due to the agreement between the networks, Veoh will present shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Lost, Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives, as well as showing clips of ESPN shows and game highlights, according to Reuters.com.
As outlined by the New York Times, the senior vice president for digital media distribution at Disney and ESPN Media Networks, Matt Murphy, stated: “These types of partnerships allow us to reach our fans and viewers in a much deeper and more meaningful way. . . . This is a world where you have to constantly re-evaluate your business and constantly look at partners and how they are running their businesses.”
