Young Jeezy Arrested For DUI

Jeezy in trouble again.
Rapper Young Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Jenkins, was arrested Wednesday in Atlanta for speeding while driving under the influence, making him the latest addition to a laundry list of star offenders, eFluxMedia reports.
Jeezy was stopped at 2:30 am on Atlanta’s Interstate 85. Officer James Polite, police department spokesperson noted that the star’s offenses were numerous. When all was said and done, Jeezy was charged with speeding, driving while intoxicated, having an open container, and driving with no proof of insurance whatsoever.
It was also noticed that the rapper’s Corvette was being driven without any license plates.
Arrested and taken to Atlanta City Detention Center, he was eventually released on a $4,100 bond, only a few short hours after the incident. Jeezy, who is scheduled to appear in court on July 17, can add this offense to a list of pervious run ins with the law. In 2006, he was arrested for involvement in a shooting, and last year his conduct in a club got him into trouble.
