The combating prince travels back to Lesotho.
Since his last tour of duty in Afghanistan was cut short in February, Prince Harry plans to take his troops to southern Africa.
According to People.com, the 23-year-old lieutenant is including three weeks at the Kingdom of Lesotho in their travel itinerary. The prince and his regiment, led by a senior officer, are building and repairing facilities for children there.
He first went to Lesotho in 2004 to bring awareness to the AIDS epidemic in his later documentary, The Forgotten Kingdom: Prince Harry in Lesotho.
In 2006, Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho co-founded the charity to support AIDS orphans called Sentebale, meaning “forget-me-not” in the local language. People.com said that this was in memory of Harry’s late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.
A royal source tells People that a trip to southern Africa has been discussed for some time, and Harry suggested that the group include Lesotho on the itinerary.
