Carmen Electra Meets the Parents

The sexy starlet speaks about her new love and her new projects.
Sunday, 36-year-old Carmen Electra told People about her relationship with fiancé Rob Patterson. She recently met with Patterson’s parents while she took time off from the filming of her new movie, Mardi Gras, in New Orleans. “They're really cool,” she says. “We had a great day today and . . . we're looking forward to doing some dancing then going straight back to New Orleans.”
Does this mean that motherhood will soon approach? “I hope to be a mom some day, but I'm not rushing to be one. It would be a lot of fun. A lot of hard work, but I'll look forward to it someday,” Electra said.
Putting diapers and formulas on hold, People reported that Carmen Electra is working on some fitness projects along with her movie. She will soon release a line of portable stripper poles as part of her striptease workout series.
“Pole dancing really isn't as easy as it looks,” she adds. “I'm still taking pointers. It's a good workout.”
