Suri Has Moved On to the Sippy Cup

Suri Cruise, age 2, has been pictured with a sippy cup, instead of her bottle, after controversy over Katie’s Scientologist choices.
Katie Holmes must have been reading all of the entertainment-news columns concerned over her daughter Suri’s bottle habits. A photo on Defamer.com drew attention to Suri holding an actual sippy cup. Defamer claimed that Holmes had indeed been following Scientologist Hubbard’s Parenting Book, telling moms that it is okay to keep their children on the bottle much longer than non-Scientologists. Hubbard claims that his mixture, which science proves to have rotted babies’ teeth and actually caused some to die, is good for children, and the only way for Scientologists to raise their children. He also encourages mothers to skip the breastfeeding stage.
Controversy arose when photos of Suri Cruise surfaced of the 2-year-old still drinking from a bottle. Scientologist mother Leah Remini tried to assure the public that this was “normal,” as her 3-year-old drank six bottles per night, and she expected her to remain on the bottle until she is 16. Hubbard claimed he came up with the recipe of barley water, homogenized milk, and honey, after he made a jump back in time to Ancient Rome.
