Happy Mother’s Day Britney
7-May-2008
Written by: Hillary Frazier
Britney Spears has been granted regular visits with her sons.
After a custody hearing with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Britney Spears will now be allowed to spend more time with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Despite the good news, there was no change in the custody. Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, reported to Usmagazine.com that Britney’s time will only be “more than it has been.”
In better news, according to TMZ.com, Britney will get three days of supervised visitation per week, and also a visitation on Mother’s Day. Kaplan continued to say the court was “pleased with the progress that seems to be occurring [with Britney]” and claimed the court’s ruling to be “a step in the right direction . . . the children are doing great—that’s the key.”
Britney will be having another hearing July 15, which will hopefully be all smiles as it was at this hearing from Britney, parents Lynne and Jamie, Federline, and Britney’s attorney, Stacy Philips.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Federline has had primary custody of the boys since Britney’s hospitalization in January, after she refused to turn one of her sons over to her body guard. She has since improved, and has been granted regular visits with the boys.
