“Project Runway” Will Move to L.A. for Part of 6th Season

The show will also move to Lifetime.
Project Runway will move from New York City to Los Angeles for part of its sixth season, according to the Chicago Tribune’s Maureen Ryan and Entertainment Weekly.
The story broke Thursday on the Web site of Entertainment Weekly: “EW.com has learned from two well-placed sources that Project Runway and its host, Heidi Klum, will move to Los Angeles for the series’ sixth season, expected to premiere on Lifetime in November,” writes Mandi Bierly.
But what came out on Friday, was an update that only part of the show’s sixth season will move to L.A., because of conflicts in Klum’s schedule, and EW.com made the necessary changes as they were announced.
The show’s success figures to be hurt, at least a little, with the move away from NYC, three different seasons of PR in one year, and its move away from familiar Bravo and to Lifetime, but only time will tell.
