Star Jones Getting a Divorce

Television personality Star Jones has filed for divorce from her husband of three and one half years.
Former View co-host Star Jones has filed for divorce from her husband of three and one half years, Al Reynolds. Jones’s representative confirmed the divorce to E! News. Papers were filed on March 26 and have been sealed by the court in New York.
Jones feels that part of the reason for her divorce is because she allowed the media in on her private life. She has decided to deal with the divorce in private. She told Entertainment Tonight, “The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.”
Why the couple is divorcing is unknown, although rumors on how long the marriage would last started directly after the media-filled wedding. They resurfaced earlier this year, but the couple stayed out of the limelight until recently. Jones was photographed with Miami Heat player, Dwayne Wade, sparking rumors of an affair. Supposedly, Reynolds is trying to sell a tell-all book about his love life and life with Star.
