Katharine McPhee Talks About Her Wedding

Former “Idol” speaks about the love of her life and their wedding plans.
Katharine McPhee and her producer boyfriend, Nick Cokas, became groom-and-bride-to-be on February 2, and the singer has publicly spoken about their love story. According to InStyle, the former American Idol singer plans to have friend and formal Idol contestant, Mandisa, sing a John Legend song at the wedding ceremony.
McPhee will be wearing a Manuel Mota for Pronovias gown featuring a sweetheart neckline, which she bought at R-mine Bridal Couture.
The couple will honeymoon in Maui where they plan to surf, hike and ride in a helicopter.
Cokas and McPhee met on the set of a TV show which Cokas was producing in 2005. The 24-year-old singer has said another boyfriend was driving her crazy, when she and Cokas started going on dates and out to bars.
McPhee advises other couples who are planning their wedding to remember that it’s not about having the most elaborate celebration, rather it is an expression of love and commitment between partners.
