Ashlee Simpson Angered by Drunk Interview Rumors

Ashlee Simpson writes on her blog about how she was not drunk during a radio interview, she was just tired and nervous.
Ashlee Simpson is known for some key things; her reality show, her nose job, her lip-synching, a little jig she did on Saturday Night Live, oh, and being Jessica Simpson’s sister. One other thing she might be known for is a little YouTube video that has her ordering food at McDonald’s drunk.
However, she does not want being drunk to be something for which she’s known. Recently, Perez Hilton made reports that Simpson went on a morning radio show drunk. Simpson has slammed these rumors. MTV reports that she went straight to her MySpace page to debunk these claims.
Simpson admits that she wasn’t quite in a normal state during the radio interview, but she blames it on a combination of things. Among them is lack of sleep, the host asking too many personal questions, and that she giggles a lot in general, especially when people make her uncomfortable.
Simpson has admitted that she’s been doing a lot of late nightclub promotion for her new album, Bittersweet World, that will drop on April 22. The 23-year-old actress/singer seems to just be doing what anyone would do in her position.
