Fantasia Barrino Takes it to Church on American Idol
Written by: It was Fantasia Barrino who truly brought the house down with her soulful rendition of "It's a Miracle." The performance brought the crowd to its feet, winning praise from all four judges. " I feel like I was in a church revival," said judge Randy Jackson. " I love the energy."
Not even the usually critical Simon Cowell could find anything disparaging to say about the performance. "Thank god you're in this competition," he told an ecstatic Barrino.
Photography by: On Wednesday's show, yet another contestant will be sent packing. The two youngest competitors, Diana DeGarmo and Stevens, have consistently been in the bottom three and are both in jeopardy of being the next one on the chopping block.
The American Idol results show will air Wednesday on Fox, at 8:00p.m.
It was Barry Manilow night on American Idol Tuesday, as the icon served as a guest judge while contestants performed re-worked renditions of his classic hits.
