Richie and Madden Will Wait Until After Birth to Wed

Any Richie-Madden nuptials will wait, inside source says.
According to an inside source for E! Online, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden will wait until after the birth of their child to tie the knot. The source claims: “She said she doesn’t want the baby to one day grow up and think she and Joel rushed to get married just because she got pregnant.” Coming on the heels of engagement rumors over the weekend, some friends say that the couple has been wearing promise rings since the winter.
Other reasons for holding off on marriage? Richie wants enough time to plan her dream wedding and apparently doesn’t want to be shopping for maternity wedding dresses. She also has to serve a four day jail sentence by the end of September for her DUI. No matter the reason, it looks like the national media frenzy will have to wait until after the little Richie-Madden is born before filling magazines with “exclusive” wedding pictures.
