Move over, Prince George, there’s new royal babies in town. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco have welcomed twins: a boy and a girl named Prince Jacques, Honoré, Rainier and Princess Gabriella, Thérèse, Marie.
On Wednesday, the palace released an official statement announcing the twins’ birth at Princess Grace Hospital Monaco.
"It is with immense joy that TT.SS.HH the Prince and Princess of Monaco have the great pleasure to announce thebirth of their children," the press release said, People reports.
Princess Gabriella will become the Countess of Carladès (in Auvergne) and Prince Jacques is the first in line to the thrown.
Prince Albert is the son of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier and has two children from previous relationships; Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, 22, and Alexandre Coste, 11.
He married Princess Charlene in 2011 and they announced they were expecting in May. She was born Charlene Wittstock, and she’s a former South African Olympic swimmer.
